Preview ABR brush set files with ease...

You've arrived at the home of the free ABR file preview utility, ABRView.
Downloading Photoshop brushes is common place these days. We all love to experiment with new resources after all!

But do you ever get tired of downloading a brush set, copying it into the Photoshop folder, loading up Photoshop, switching to the brush tool, opening the brush palette, only to find you don't even like the brushes!

Wouldn't it be better if there were a quick way to check how the brushes looked before hand?

Well I thought so too, but looking around I couldn't find any utility that really fitted the bill.

So I created one

I wanted a utility that:

- Was simple to use and required no technical expertise

- Would allow me to quickly view brush files from anywhere on my computer

- You didn't have to install onto your computer

- Allowed me to create an image of entire brush sets at the click of a button

- Allowed me to alter the size and color of the brush previews

The result of all that is ABRView!

Simple to use

All you have to do is download the utility, run it, and double click on the brush set you want to preview. (If it's in a non-standard place, you may also need to tell the utility to look in that folder)

You can adjust the preview sizes, or if you want to see the full size images on their own, just look in the "ABRViewImages" folder next to the program and you'll find all the brush images.

Not only that, but the program automatically produces set images, so if you create brushes you can produce a brush set profile image at the click of a button! Click here to see an example.

There's no hidden catches, and the utility doesn't install itself onto your computer, so you can remove it at any time. Best of all, there is absolutely no adware, spyware or cookies. Just download and run!

This is a free utility, and as such I offer no support for the product apart from this video tutorial, but I welcome any feedback and product improvement suggestions for future updates.

Downloading ABRView

I wanted the utility to be as widely available as possible, so there are two versions:

- An exe version for Windows users

- A jar version for Mac and Linux users

BETA NOTICE: This software is current in beta stage (which means that it's only recently been released) and so if you find any bugs, please let me know using my Contact Form.
