The truth about Adobe customer support... |
Adobe Support don't exactly have a glowing reputation... In fact, most people seem to say
that Adobe customer support stinks. I don't want to be unfair to Adobe, but I *do* want to
give people the chance to voice their real-life experiences.
I frequently get E-Mails like this one from Linda:
"Help! Computer crashed; had to be rebuilt; lost old Adobe Photoshop Elements; new one
is installed on my Mac10.4.11, but refuses to open. Program just crashes each time. Adobe
company is NO HELP!"
It seems like all the time people are getting their wallets out, Adobe are more than happy to
talk to them, but once they need aftercare, Linda becomes just another number on the system.
I have my own gripes with Adobe support, which you can read about below. If you've ever been
passed repeatedly between the 'Adobe customer support department' and the 'Adobe technical
support department', and sat their thinking 'Do any of your departments actually give
Adobe software support?', you know the kind of thing I mean.
