Photoshop Batch Processing |
Why waste time with individual processing... |

|
Photoshop batch processing is a very powerful tool. Do you often find yourself doing very repetitive tasks? Maybe
it's renaming the files from your digital camera? Or how about changing the size or type of an image file, to send in an E-Mail
or put on a webpage?
When they think about it, most people can identify a process which they perform many times, to accomplish a single aim. So why
do we have to perform the process multiple times?
|
|
Well with Photoshop batch processing, the answer is: We don't!
I've written three articles on the most common tasks that people want to batch process, renaming, resizing, and conversion.
But first let me tell you the greatest thing about Photoshop batch processing. You can do ALL these things, at once!
You don't even have to perform the different tasks separately. Just state that you want a transformation applied, and it will be.
It all works from this rather daunting looking dialog box:
|

|
It's called the 'Process Multiple Files' dialog box, and it's a bit much to take in all at once. But that doesn't matter!
Read these articles on how to do each task, and then you can put it all together with ease!
Learn about Batch File Renaming
Learn about Batch Image Resizing
Learn about Batch Image Conversion
Once you've discovered how to run each batch process, if you want to combine more than one of them, there's nothing new to learn.

I hope these articles on Photoshop Batch Processing are useful to you. The advantage of batch processing is that it takes the time and
tedium out of repetitive processes, so I'm sure the time you spend reading my articles will not be wasted!
