There are times when images look great in that 'unframed' style, but often a border or frame can add a great deal of class to a picture.

Different borders have different effects on a picture too, so it's worth trying out several different border designs in Photoshop to see what creates the effect you're looking for.

This section describes how to make lots of different Photoshop Borders, in all kinds of styles, so you can experiment with them all easily.

	Simple, Elegant Line Border Don't reject this border because it's easy to make! Simple line borders can be elegant and effective.

	Jagged Border This jagged border gives a rough, enticing feel to any scene with a little 'journey' to it.

	Dark Border Add a smooth dark border to 'fade out' your image, or a sharper shadowed look perhaps?
