Free Photoshop Elements training videos below – read on!
Free training and tutorial articles are great – and everybody comes here looking for free Photoshop Elements Training.
This site provides a lot of free help and advice that will help you develop great Photoshop Elements skills. But here
is my genuine opinion as a Photoshop expert, and someone with a lot of teaching experience:
You can benefit greatly from a structured training course
Almost everyone can – following a set programme covers areas that you wouldn’t have got to naturally. It’s a great way
to find out about stuff that you never even knew existed!
But here’s the problem: There aren’t any good full training courses, that are free. A lot of work goes into producing a
full training course for Photoshop Elements (trust me!), and a cost is involved in that. But who wants to pay money for
a course that they don’t know will benefit them?!
Here’s the solution: You don’t have to! You can know right now whether or not you need this course.
I’ve looked at a lot of training courses in the past, and I can tell the bad from the good. A good
training course for Adobe Photoshop Elements:
- Uses video – video training courses are simply the best way to teach you all you need to know about the software, in a really easy-to-follow, fun way
- Covers all angles – Have you been there? You read an article or watch a video, and it covers everything except the thing you wanted to know. A good training course should at least touch on every major aspect of the software
- Will leave you begging for more – If you’re going to invest time in watching a training course, you don’t want it to bore you to death! A good training course will be fun, and leave you excited to start on the next part every time
- Is cheaper than you think – You don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars to get a good training course. There are plenty of cheap, bad quality courses out there, but if you know where to look (which you do, since you’re here!), there are also some great resources that won’t break the bank
For the first three years of running this site, I didn’t feature any training course here. I’d simply never seen one good enough. All that has changed.
The training course below is fantastic. You can watch the first 10 parts free right now.
Apart from anything, I really like the Neil Oliver’s accent! :) (Neil Oliver is a certified professional instructor)
Take a moment to watch the first video now (it’s under 2 minutes long):
This is the video training for Adobe Photoshop Elements 8, but what if you’re looking for training for an older version
of Photoshop? Not to worry – further down this page you’ll find
training for older versions of Photoshop Elements.
Do you edit your photos in Photoshop Elements?
This training covers the Photoshop Elements Organizer really excellently, and will teach you to import,
manage, adjust, edit and share your photos in ways that will ‘wow’ everyone you show.
Do you want to know more about the most powerful features of Photoshop Elements?
Advanced editing can be a mystery, but with a structured course that teaches you about selections,
layers, all the powerful editing tools, and various enhancements and special effects from the bottom
up, you’ll have a thorough understanding that will allow you to achieve any effect you want! I don't
know of any other Adobe Photoshop Elements training course that explains both the tools, and the
background you need to know to use them well, in such a useful, down-to-earth way as this course.
Start Straight Away!
The best part is, you can download the entire course
right now. No waiting for the post! (There is a CD/DVD version available too if you prefer. Click here to get the
Adobe Photoshop Elements Training CD)
You can see all the topics covered by the training here. Notice how the videos take you right through from scratch, without
assuming you know anything. (If you’re eager to get onto advanced topics quickly, you don’t have to stick to the order shown
here, but I recommend watching all the videos to get to all those invaluable tips and tricks you never knew about!)
This is the training outline:
6. Managing & Finding Photos
8. Display & Comparing Photos
11. Working With Selections
15. Working With Raw Images
18. Photo Projects & Sharing
This simply is the best course you can buy for Photoshop Elements 8 training, and it’s unbelievable value at just $49.95.
Download it now to start getting the most out of Photoshop Elements.

If you’re using Photoshop Elements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6, my honest advice to you is to upgrade now, and get a newer version of
Photoshop Elements. I could send you to some dud Photoshop Elements training resource, just for the sake of it – but as I said
above, I looked hard, and I couldn’t find any training worth showing you. So my advice is, upgrade to get the best out of the
new features in Photoshop Elements 8, and benefit from a training course that’ll launch your Photoshop Elements skills like a
rocket. For more advice on when to upgrade, see my article on Photoshop Elements Upgrades.
