Photoshop Star Brush Set |
From clear nights to canvas... |
Ever since I first looked up into a clear night sky, I've loved the stars and moon. Some
of the greatest pictures I've ever seen are those that successfully depict this everyday, normal thing,
in the beauty it deserves. Sometimes we get so used to it, we miss the 'art' right under out noses.
|
We see representations of that same sky all over the place though. Many signs and symbols
use aspects of the night sky. I made this star brush set to help those who want to include the stars in
their art. Even if you don't use these exact brushes, you never know what ideas they'll spark.
The brush set includes two types of stars. The first section are of the symbolic type, which can be used
in many situations. Some of the later stars can be used to create more realistic effects, for those
photographic night skies.
The last brushes in the set are adaptions of pictures taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. These 'Hubble
Brushes' were created with public domain Hubble images, and so can be re-used accordingly.
Each of the three examples shown below took just a few minutes to create using the brush set.
